Time has passed yet again..

Hiya!!
So.. I've been SUPER busy and that leads me to neglect this blog. But alas.. I am here!!
The Oscars just ended!! Loved Billy Crystal! My favorite moment was def the whole Cirque performance! That was mind-blowing!!! Best dressed? Michelle Willams! Hands down. She's flawless.

Things going on with me? I'm currently house hunting and it's probably the most frustrating/scary/stressful thing I've had to go through in a while. The whole process is very daunting in itself, but when it's constantly becoming more difficult.. it's even worse.

Which leads me to this blog topic. Change.
I love change! Don't get me wrong! But I'm talking minor changes.. like.. buying a new TV.. that's good change. BUT.. when you're face with real life changing change.. it's a lot to handle. I currently have so much change going on. I'm not very happy about it. I'm good with it when it's one thing at a time.. but I'm extremely overwhelmed with everything going on right now.

What do I do?
Let my frustrations/worries/stress out in a healthy way. Doing A LOT of writing (as usual)!
Dance, singing, talking about it! I usually HATE to talk about things that are bothering me.. but I can promise that it feels amazing after you do!

Don't hold it inside! Let it out! Change is good. Life is all about change. It may be daunting, but it's worth it in the end. That's what I believe, anyway. That's what mindset I'm in right now.

Everything works out the way it's supposed to. God throws challenges at his toughest soldiers.
Be a fighter. Grow with the change. It will be okay in the end.

What kind of changes are you going through? Feel free to share with me! Don't forget my Tumblr/ Twitter and the Comments section are always open to those who need it!

Love you all. Best wishes! Talk to you in a few days!

Now and Then..

Good evening! (Or morning.. whatever!)

I said that I would write a blog today and that is what I shall do!
I'm kind of excited about this one because I think it's a really great exercise.

SO..

I think we as people should always be looking to change. For the better, of course.. because no one is perfect.
I've never met a single person who is completely happy with them self. If you are.. you're an ass. :P
So I came up with this little exercise last night that really got me thinking. I guess you can call it a bit of a self-evaluation to help you become a better you!

I want you to think of three things that you are. It can be positive or negative. For example, you are self-conscious, anxious, smart. Whatever three things come to mind first! Then I want you to think of three things you WISH you were.

I think it's a great way to evaluate yourself and really help you see things about yourself in a different way. When I did it last night I was really surprised at myself with what I thought and how I felt. It put things in perspective for me.
And just to share with you all, I will do it again.

3 Things I AM

  1. I'm caring
  2. I'm strong
  3. I'm angry
3 Things I WISH I were

  1. Confident
  2. Calm
  3. Secure
Thinking about this really made me think about my life and how I'm feeling.
I really, realllllly recommend doing this! Especially those who are struggling with something.

Don't forget to express yourselves in creative and healthy ways! I've been writing A LOT lately.
I'm considering putting some of my writing on my blog, but I don't know. Let me know what you guys think!

So there you have it! Evaluate yourself! Express yourself! And share!
Feel free to share your 3 things in the comments or anything you wish to share! You can also message me on my Tumblr or my Twitter at anytime for ANYTHING. I don't bite! If you wish it to remain private just tell me and I won't publish it!

Hope this little exercise helps you guys out! It sure helped me!
Until next time <3

Looking out for me..

Hiya!!

I've decided to sit down and write for no special reason! It's been pretty busy around here. Juggling a jillion things at one time! But that's okay. It's my specialty :)

I wanted to write about something that's been bothering me in my own life (especially lately) and get opinions and advice, as well as sharing my own.
I think that it's extremely important for a person to always put their feelings first. I've struggled with doing this for a while, but I'm starting to realize that you can't always worry about looking selfish or mean. You're just looking out for yourself.
Always, ALWAYS put yourself first! Not only does it save you from doing things you don't want to do, but it shows people that you can't be walked all over.
I've learned to finally put my feelings first. After years of practice, hehe. If you're unhappy or you don't want to do something, you have the right to say no.

Those are just some crazy thoughts that have been running through my head all day!
On another note! I'm really looking forward to getting around to reading "The Prophet" by Kahlil Gibran. I actually heard about it through Julia Albain and I'm really excited to start it! Probably after this semester because I have a lot of reading to do for my English class.
Do you have any books to suggest? Alwaaays interested to hear whats out there! :)

This post is shorter than usual, but I'll just make it short and sweet!
So there you have it! I'll be making a better post this week!
Be sure to leave some comments!

Long overdue..

Hello, hello!!

It's been so long since I last wrote a blog! I've been so busy with packing and starting school again, I've lost track of time! My classes seem okay so far.. I'll let you know in a few weeks after things are settled and the major work begins! I'm taking American Sign Language, Geology, a Geology Lab and an English class. Most of my requirements are complete and I'll soon begin to focus on my major! Yay!

Also.. can we talk about Sherlock??? I've just started watching it yesterday and I'm in love! I have two episodes left then I will be all caught up! I am SHER Locked! Looooove!
And last nights Glee!? Yes, yes, YES!

Anywaaaaay..

I'm always one to be thinking of my future and all my dreams that I wish to accomplish.. I thought it would be fun and inspiring to create a sort of bucket list of things I'd like to accomplish or do in my lifetime. That way I have some goals and dreams set for myself and I'm always focused on achieving them. I typed them all out on my computer and saved them. I'm sure as time goes on things will be added and hopefully things will get check marks next to them!
I have about 35 or 36 so far.. ( I don't feel like opening the document to check)
Some of them are as simple as "graduating college", while others seem bigger such as "live in England for some time" .
A few other things:

  • Attend a UK music festival
  • Work in a theater
  • Get an internship at a casting office
  • Get married and have children
  • Meet Lady Gaga
They vary! :) But I think it's really cool and kind of important to think about the kind of life you want to live and the kinds of things you want to do. Creating a list like this can help keep you on track and help you remember what it is that you want to accomplish with your life.

I hope to live a life full of happiness and amazing experiences. Where I can wake up everyday and love going to work and enjoying the fun in life while always maintaining my security. And I wish the same for all of you!

So there you have it! Some advice from me to you! Think about your dreams and goals! Make a list, write it down and keep it with you! I hope it's full of check marks :)
Be sure to let me know some of the things on your list! I'd love to hear some! Maybe they'll give others and I ideas!

I certainly won't wait another two weeks to write my next one! I've gotta go finish Sherlock! Adois!
